I have a lot of clients and it's frustrating to have to scroll through dozens to find the client I'm starting the timer for

If you just type the first couple of letters of the clients name, it will pull them up without any scrolling.

We will leave this open because I think it does make sense, but you shouldn’t have to scroll through a large list to find the client you were looking for.
