Tickets to Tasks
complete

Geoff Mina this is a huge update! Discovered one big challenge - tickets cannot be assigned to a project. Given that I bill most of my clients monthly, not being able to connect a ticket to a project greatly complicates time tracking.
Geoff Mina
Brian Matzat the time is tracked and billed directly on the ticket. When you add the time to the invoice it gets grouped under the ticket number + Subject.
Alternatively - use the ticket to task and track the time to the task as usual.

This feature is now complete.

This would be a gamechanger, especially if you can track time against the ticket that's billable to said client.

This would be amazing. Additionally, having a quick link from the ticket to the task (and task to ticket) would improve productivity and make it easier to track time.

Popping in to comment again. I have one client who fires off multiple tickets almost daily and it's really making me not want to use the ticketing system because cutting and pasting into a task so I can track time on it derails me. I have tried a few tricks like starting a timer and then pasting there, that works OK for now I guess? Still hard to put it into my task queue this way.
She is an older client and I'm so proud of her for using it and I do think it's an amazing tool minus this.. Any ETA on this being retooled to work with projects/tasks/timers?
Also, fine tuning the notification emails would be amazing. If this is already a thing in here I can't find it! Thanks again!

This should seriously be prioritised. What's the point of ticketing if it requires manually translating and moving the client's brief to a new task if it's all there in the ticket already?

This would be game-changing in how effective the ticketing system is for me. Then I could actually track time spent on a ticket too! And maybe tickets I assign due dates to would even appear in dashboard "Focus" and the calendar!

Yes, just to be able to link to the project and track time on the ticket. It's currently not terribly intuitive.

Ticket assets - transfer to projects/tasks

If a client mistakenly or intentionally sends assets for an existing project or task using the ticketing feature, there needs to be a way internally to move those assets or link them to that existing project or task. Otherwise, we have to download the asset, then re-upload to that project/task. Pretty clunky.
