I would like to see a roll up report or visible breakdown of the projects and their various stages track work history. Similar to P&L but a breakdown of the projects and/or tasks (deliverables). I would like to see a rollup of total number of tasks completed by project by client YTD, or this month, last year, etc. This business intelligence would help me analyze who my best/worst clients are and help to determine if it's worth continuing to work with them in the future.
Maybe it's a simple report like the P&L? Maybe add a visual BI dashboard to Projects to show some pie charts or bar graphs. For my business I'd be able to see total number of gigs completed/confirmed/canceled at a glance. I'd be able to determine which client I've done the most work with. P&L only gives the $ side, but that doesn't always match up with your most consistent clients.

Just having a list of projects doesn't give me a way to do a quick glance check at what state they are in such as in progress, on hold, waiting on client, etc. Now you can do this at the task level but I would like to have an overall project status field that also shows on the project list page. Also having the ability to sort or filter your list by project status would be an excellent way to stay organized. I attached a brief mock up of what these indicators may look like on the project status screen.

If these reports could be exported and sent to clients, that would be great. Some of my clients ask me to send project reports as separate documents, not a detailed invoice, for their internal analysis and project specific records.
