For payment plan invoices with a percentage (and not a fixed amount), please change it so that the percentage due is its own line item. This line item should be listed after the subtotal.
Some of my invoices are for products, as shown in this invoice. The client should be able to easily review the invoice to see the overall total, the amount of the 80% down payment, and the outstanding balance. In this case, the invoice total was $8,396.69; however, it does not indicate this amount anywhere on the invoice.
I also use this invoice as a QC to confirm that my client receives the correct amount. The client also uses it for the same purpose. In this case, the client ordered 85 invitations, not 68. They needed 3 international postage stamps, not 2.4. I shouldn't have to get a calculator out, or dig through my emails, etc to see this quantity.
